KATE MOSS - “Mossy”

£4,000.00
🔴SOLD OUT

120 × 100 cm on Cradled Wood Panel (7.5 cm)
Resin coated surface

This piece is built from ripped street posters, fashion print fragments, graffiti layers, spray paint and halftone portrait work.
The surface was layered, torn back, worked again, and then sealed under resin, holding the history just beneath the gloss.
It isn’t smooth underneath. It’s worn-in. Lived-in. Real.

Kate Moss changed the idea of beauty by not explaining anything.
No performance. No effort. Just presence.
The attitude was the message.

This piece carries that same energy - quiet confidence, sharp edges, nothing forced.
Look close and you’ll find references to the era, the imagery, the style language she helped define.
Some things are clear straight away. Others show up slowly.

This artwork is no longer available.
It remains here in the archive as part of the ongoing record of figures who didn’t follow the trend - they became the reference.
